Drew pics and Mads photography

Here's our little guy hanging out on our bed. He still has really blue eyes which we are hoping stick around. No one will believe he is 1/4 chinese if he keeps them though. Oh well.

This is a pretty average picture for these three. Madolyn is happy to be a big sister, Avery looks like she is about to pounce, and Drew is wondering how in the world he got put in this situation.
Does Dawn look like the mother of all three of these? Based on Avery's expression, Dawn is definitely Avery's mom, but as for the other two, who knows?

One out of three we have everyone looking and smiling at the camera.

Madolyn is our little photographer. She absolutely loves to take pictures. Not only can she successfully start our computer and find her favorite kid website, but she also can function our camera as well as the rest of us. Not bad for a three year old. Here are some of her pictures that she took from the last week.

Are they ever too young to start posing for the camera and taking pictures of themselves? She gets this from her Aunt Cami and Aunt Rachel.
Dawn's motherly instinct told her that Drew was looking especially cute and needed some pictures with his Daddy.

Ice Fishing Feb. 11

Grandpa Peterson, Uncle Mitch, Daddy, and a couple of Grandpa's neighbors went ice fishing with the little girls to Scofield. Fishing was little slow, but Madolyn was still able to catch a couple. The little girls ask if we are going fishing every Saturday. They do really well for the first hour or so, and then I turn on a movie on the little DVD player to keep them entertained after that.

As you can tell, Avery is really excited to be fishing.

Madolyn is really excited to be ice fishing. Could be the 5:30 am wake up call that has her a little dazed.

Madolyn caught the most fish on this outing. It was really slow fishing but she still managed to catch a couple.

Visit from Grandpa/ma Yee

Grandpa and Grandma Yee came to see baby Drew the week after he was born. Grandma stayed for the week and was such a great help while Dawn was still recuperating from everything. The little girls love playing with their Grandma Yee.

Princess Clothes

I assume that due to the title of the post you could figure out this one wouldn't be about Drew. Even with Drew home, the girls still carry on as usual, meaning lots of playing and dressing up.

I love their poses in this one.

Hanging out with Drew

Dawn had a little photo session with Drew when he was awake. Seems like we take a ton of pictures of the kids when they are little, and then as they grow up we take less and less. It's fun to see him with his eyes open.

Madolyn is such a good big sister and takes such good care of Drew.

More of Baby Drew

Here are some more pictures of our little guy. He has been such a sweet little baby. He isn't real fussy and does really well just hanging out. He's still eating every three hours and goes to bed around midnight, leaving us a little short on sleep. We are getting used to it though. For how sweet a little boy he is, it is worth it.

Dawn's college roommate had her first baby a couple weeks before Drew was born. They came over to visit and hang out for a bit. Drew didn't wake up at all for the visit, but it was still fun that they came.
Avery pulled some of the velcro pieces off of the bottom of our chairs and strategically placed them on her cheeks. She is such a little character!
Avery is such a good helper and loves to grab the diapers and wipes for baby Drew.
Grandma Peterson came over to visit and was a good enough sport to be a horse for a while. The girls loved it. Madolyn calls herself a cowboy girl.
You can see Drew's little missing uvula/cleft in this picture. It really hasn't created any issues other than every time he spits up it comes out his nose. It makes it easy to clean up but can't possibly feel very good.
He's definitely his Daddy's boy; already making a touchdown signal even in his sleep.

He looks different with his eyes open, but is definitely a handsome little guy.

Home with Drew

We are all used to having baby Drew home with us now. When you ask the little girls what his name is, they always reply, "Baby Drew". I'm not sure what they are going to call him when he gets older. Anyway, here are some more pictures of the little squirt for you all to enjoy.

My three year old is going on 15 all of the sudden. She is such a good big sister.

Avery loves loves loves being a big sister. She is so funny with baby Drew and loves to hold him and give him loves. We have to monitor her whenever he is within reach so he doesn't get the full effect of her big sister loves.
