Little Avery is here!!!

Well, we would like to introduce everyone to the newest member of the Peterson family. Avery Peterson was born at 1:08pm on October 22, 2009 weighing 7.6lbs and is 19 inches long. It was a much shorter labor this go-round with Dawn being induced at about 10 am and only having to push through two contractions for our little one to make it here. Both mom and baby are doing great!! Unfortunately due to the H1N1 mess and flu season in general, Madolyn will have to wait till we leave the hospital to see her new little sister, since children under the age of 14 are not allowed to visit. Avery has lighter hair than Madolyn did, and a lighter complexion too. We'll have to see how she'll turn out.

Summer Barbeque

On August 21st, we had the Jacksons and Marriots over for a barbeque. It was good for the girls to get back together since it had been so long since Dawn had seen the Marriots. The little ones had a good time playing with each other as seen in the pictures.

Lagoon Work Party

This is Jordan and after a year or so of having this blog, I am finally contributing. For our work party every year, we go to Lagoon to play and have dinner. We thought we could go at least for a few hours and ride a few rides with Madolyn. She is still too little to go on the kiddie rides by herself, so we spent our time at the carousel and riding the train. She loved picking out her animal on the carousel and making the noise that the animal makes. Riding the tiger was her favorite.

Island Park- The Week of July 24th

Every year we spend at least a few days around the 24th of July with Jordan's family at their cabin in Island Park. We basically play in the water, play games, eat and sleep, doesn't that sound nice. Here are a whole lot of pictures from us and from our friend Sveta who is visiting from Latvia and came with us to the cabin. I just realized that I probably never mentioned that we are expecting another girl the end of October- as you can see i'm a little pregnant in these and other pics in my recent posts.
