Avery wavery turned four! She is such a funny kid, and always has something funny and inquisitive to say. She is also our little fashionista and dresses up every day! She is a true girly girl- tea parties, multiple bows/flowers in her hair, old dresses, bracelets, rings, clip on earrings, princess shoes, tutus, purses, you name it everyday she comes out in something unique. She is a little sweetie and we love her!
A few days before the big day we made a list of all the fun things we should have on her birthday. She wanted a Snow White cake- rainbow cake with rainbow frosting, cheese pizza, balloons and ceiling decorations, and an Ariel doll that had fins and legs. Well, while in the process of figuring out a rainbow Snow White cake I realized everything she has been into lately has been Ariel, singing Ariel songs, wanting to be Ariel for Halloween, combing her hair with a fork, etc. After chatting with her she decided an Ariel cake sounded good. So the birthday theme changed to Ariel. We couldn't find the rainbow chip frosting, so blue(water) frosting worked instead.
On the day of her birthday after Madolyn and Daddy headed off to school and work we decided to go to Cabelas for her birthday. So Drew, Avery and I ventured off to see the animals and fish to which Drew ran around screaming DEER! TREES! FISH! every time he saw one. He was pretty excited and Avery loved it too. We picked up some gummy worms for a treat on the ride home to get Madolyn from the bus stop. That night Grandma Peterson and Aunt Kristin joined us for the birthday fun. We had pizza, sang happy birthday and blew out candles, and opened presents. Avery was a happy girl and had a fun day.
