Island Park/ The Cabin July 27th-30th 2011

Well once again it was time to go the the Peterson family cabin up in Island Park Idaho. We lounged around and ate and played in the water and boated. This year Madolyn decided she would go on the tube and she actually really liked it. The whole time she was going she was bouncing in her seat so i'm glad Dad was sitting next to her to hold her down so she didn't roll out.

Grandma was feeling brave and decided to take all five of the kiddos on the paddle boat by herself.

Kate had this great idea for crafty shirts- You pour craft paint and water in spray bottles and then place vinyl letters (our names) on the shirts and then spray with paint and then peel off lettering.

Kate had already cut out our names out of the vinyl and then she brought extra vinyl for us to cut out pictures and shapes. So all of us made some really fun shirts and then wore them when we went to Yellowstone the next day.

Every morning the "big" boys would go out fishing before everyone was awake and had promised to take the little kids fishing. So one afternoon they took them and left all the girls at the cabin (except Madolyn).

June Activities 2011

In June my cousin, Micah Asay got married to Keisha Cleverly in Boise. Jordan had class that weekend so he couldn't come. The girls and I headed to Idaho with Aunt Kristin and had a fun time visiting our family that we don't get to see very often.

Here are some fun pics of the little girls hanging out in Mom's bed (after it was made of course)

Madolyn and Avery enjoying some ice cream while they watch Daddy set up our tent for our camping outing in the backyard.

It was a long but fun night with the girls enjoying not being in their beds, and Avery not in her crib; she would lay down and then run around and then lay down. Finally after eleven she finally laid down for good and fell asleep.

With the warm weather it was pool time and so we set up the pool under the slide and the girls loved it. They love playing in the water and sliding down and splashing at the bottom.

And here's another one of Avery dressing up.
