Avery's One!!!

Well Avery actually turned one back in October on the 22nd, 2010, but I am just now posting it. Grandpa and Grandma Peterson, Aunt Amanda, and Aunt Kristin came for the party. We were even lucky enough that Daddy didn't have class that weekend so we were able to celebrate on her actual birthday! She wasn't too interested in opening presents so lucky for her Madolyn was a great helper in that department. She didn't know what to think of the cake at first and just stared at it and hesitated a few times before she finally braved up and poked it. It wasn't until we put her in her high chair that she felt more in her own element and grabbed hold of that cupcake. We had fun and we love our little Avery, Happy Birthday Bug!

I tried a headband during the day because I knew there was no chance she would keep it on in the evening.
