Christmas Eve/Christmas Day! Dec. 2012

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with the Yee side this year.  Everyone came down to our house which was so much fun and we had a wonderful time together.  On Christmas Eve we got a lot of snow, played in it,  played games, ate lots of Christmas treats, acted out the Nativity scene, and put together hygiene kits for the Humanitarian Center.  On Christmas morning the girls were so excited to see what Santa had brought them.  They loved every single present they received and were pretty sure every gift came from Santa.  It was a good thing he came or they wouldn't have had a single toy to play with.  Thanks Santa!

Madolyn and Avery tracking Santa Claus on the world map Christmas Eve.  He even called them to remind them to be good girls so he could bring them presents on Christmas.

As a family tradition we role play or act out the Nativity Scene on Christmas Eve and read the Christmas story to remind us of what Christmas is really about.

 The Angels and Shepherd.
Our hygiene kits for the Humanitarian Center.
Mary being great with child. Ha ha!
 The Wisemen.
 Playing the Train Game.
The "babe" wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger.  He was a little big for the part, but happily filled it.

We were so excited to have a white Christmas this year.  It snowed all day on Christmas Eve and Dad, Grandma, Aunt Kristin, Avery and Madolyn built some very large snowballs.
Madolyn loves making huge snow balls and will stay out as long as we let her.

Drew loved all the snow that came in from the boots and coats.

We were each given an elf name and had to remember it so we knew which cup was ours.  For example mine was Happy Sugar Socks:)

Lots of Christmas fun opening and chewing on presents.

 Our two princesses.
Drew's favorite Christmas presents were the boxes and paper.  He loves climbing into things.
