Little Girls

Well once again it has been awhile since we have posted anything on our blog. The most exciting things in our lives and certainly the sweetest part is our little girls. Avery now grabs her toes and can roll, but for now it's only when she's bored and no one is entertaining her, she likes to yell and gurgle in long spurts just to hear herself. Madolyn continues to love being outside and running and kicking the ball around all over the yard, exploring and playing in the dirt, building blocks and is potty trained, hurray! Here are a whole bunch of pictures from the last few months.

Madolyn has pretty much stopped taking naps as of a few weeks ago when we were potty training. She still gets tired and the other day crashed in the middle of her toys and was out.

I decided to try putting Madolyn's hair in rollers one Sunday and she actually let me. Then headed off to one of her favorite activities, building with mega blocks.

Thanksgiving Family Pictures

Over Thanksgiving the whole Peterson fam. was together for Avery's baby blessing and decided to take some pictures since there were two new additions since our last family picture. So here we are together at Grandad and Grandma Poteet's house with everyone being their lovely selves.

Our Little Bugs

Here are some recent pics of our little girls. Avery is such a pleasant, sweet baby, and although life is a bit crazier now, we love having her as part of our family. You'll notice that our girls complexions and personalities are a little different. There's our light mild baby and our dark wild child, both whom we love.

Little Avery is here!!!

Well, we would like to introduce everyone to the newest member of the Peterson family. Avery Peterson was born at 1:08pm on October 22, 2009 weighing 7.6lbs and is 19 inches long. It was a much shorter labor this go-round with Dawn being induced at about 10 am and only having to push through two contractions for our little one to make it here. Both mom and baby are doing great!! Unfortunately due to the H1N1 mess and flu season in general, Madolyn will have to wait till we leave the hospital to see her new little sister, since children under the age of 14 are not allowed to visit. Avery has lighter hair than Madolyn did, and a lighter complexion too. We'll have to see how she'll turn out.
