We have a random cat that showed up on New Year's eve at our doorstep. He seemed pretty friendly and we see him running around our yard here and there. He seems to have found a new hunting ground out in our backyard in the weeds. Dawn and the girls watched him catch this mouse and play with it a while before finally taking care of business. A cat that I don't have to take care of and catches mice? Don't mind that at all.
Dawn's family came and partied with us for New Years. The little girls loved spending time with them.

Aunt Kristin gave us all a house warming gift...a painted picture of Avery. We love it.
She found a photo of Avery and painted it for us. Quite the talent.
